school...

I'm on my last year of school.

And I realized that I like going to school a lot.

So much, that I'm not willing to give it up.
(ergo, I'm gonna be a teacher)

Because this is my last year to ever be a student.
And stuff like school uniforms, classmates, whiteboards, teachers, morning assemblies, canteen, sports, co-curricular activities and other stuff...

Well...I'm never going to experience that again.

It's kinda sad because they say in school, you still can trust a lot of people and have a lot of friends because you're not tied to many things such as a job, income tax, and other adult stuff.

I hope that's not true.

But still, cherish your school life. Because when it's over, it's really over. No turning back, no retakes. Nothing. You move on with life.
Though the system of education in malaysia is bad. Too result oriented and stuff.

Even so, I've met a lot of people who are different. Being 19 (I'm studying in form 6...it's a pre-u kinda thing), I'm stuck in between being a teenager, a carefree student and as a responsible adult. And most of the time, I'd rather be a student. You're just not tied to social norms as much as adults are.

Im agnostic. Though i was raised a taoist, and officially a buddhist.

to me, everyone has a right to believe and not to believe and to stand in the middle. though most say agnostics are 'spineless' for not standing for a cause. (but i consider not standing for one of the options given a cause)

God might and might not exist. and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not entitled to the right for shoving it in other ppl's throats

And even though I've been fed a lot of buddhism teachings, i still don't fascinate myself with it. too many people i know use karma and merits as an excuse to do good. i do good because i want to, not because of divine retribution. though it is an effective way to make sure people watch their step. =/

all in all. religion might be a good thing. just not my thing.

saying sorry means admitting that you are wrong. in some situations, people often find it hard to accept that they made a mistake. sometimes it's because they feel strongly for it, other times it's because they can't understand why is it known to others as a 'mistake'.

to me, it takes a lot to admit their mistakes. too much pride, or too much cowardice? that i really cannot differentiate. sometimes apologizing seems like opening yourself up, risking the chance of having people taking a stab at you for making mistakes. (some people might find sincere apologies as a ruse, or a sign of weakness, thus causing them to 'take advantage of the situation')

and btw. you shouldnt be proud because you don't make mistakes, because people cant improve that way. you should be proud that you're aware of your own mistakes, and are not afraid to admit it. ^^

i think too much of other people. about their family, the people they know, their friends etc. a person will always be precious to someone else and the pain of losing them, blah blah blah.

currently using: MSN Messenger 8.1, or more precisely, i'm really using messenger plus.
No problems yet, but only thing bugging me is when i open received music or video files, the 'security' programme will delete it if i open it through the chat window (i'm not sure about other versions since it's been 3 years since my last msn old version chat.)

Generalization, of course. Happens. This is what happens when there is something called globalisation. I mean, I don't know the Christians you know. But in general, people(not only Christians) don't do thing like killing.

I'm not blaming anyone for having their religion as 'something'. There are other religion spats, as i have said before. But currently, we're talking about one, isn't it? if you meant by us not being to remain sane if we protected everyone's feelings, it's because you keep thinking about how other people feel (not how other people think) and you will feel guilty over the things you've done, the hurt they suffer because of you and all that kind of things that seriously messes up your mind.

I don't believe that there is an almighty God. But i'm not claiming that there is no possibility of there being one. I don't hold strong views on my own belief because there are a lot of possibilities that cannot be proven.

And there is also a possibility of atheist believing that there is no God for self-comfort also.

My point is, one shouldn't be too critical over things as unsure and unproven as religion, because it is very hard to prove the existence or non-existence, and it's also somewhat of a sensitive issue. Of course, one may find it strange to find something so ambiguous as a sensitive issue, but to religious people, it is a sensitive issue. To extremists, they'll probably kill you for it.

And about Crusaders and priests who do heinous things, I don't think those can even be called people. I don't think Christians are proud of them either. There's always imperfection in all things, you know. If you really feel like incriminating, maybe one should go ask oneself (myself...mostly) "Am I really that good?"
Oh yeah, and I was referring to Kingray as a comparison, not Crusaders. But one can question a lot about other religions you know. Like in thailand, or indonesia or actually, anywhere. There are lots of racial spats which often result in horrible, horrible deaths and crime. It's not religion, it's humans and war. War turns human beings into monsters.

It's alright actually. I means, not many people can actually empathies with others. I mean, maybe you can think of it this way: "What if someone else does this to me? Will I like that?"
